Where do the times come from?
From official meet result sheets uploaded by Salty Swim Times admins. Swimmers and coaches can't edit times, so seed times stay accurate.
How fast are results posted?
Results are uploaded as each day of a meet finishes. Multi-day meets (some run 5–7 days) are updated day by day.
My swims are missing from my profile.
Your account links to your results by name. If your name in the result sheet is spelled differently, contact us and we'll merge the records.
What are the 17 swims?
50/100/200/400/800/1500 Freestyle, 50/100/200 Backstroke, 50/100/200 Breaststroke, 50/100/200 Butterfly and 200/400 Individual Medley.
How do parents follow their child?
Sign up as a Parent, enter your child's name, then link their swimmer record from "My Children".
My phone says "App blocked to protect your device" when installing the app.
That is Google Play Protect. It warns about apps that aren't on the Play Store yet. Tap the small "Install anyway" text above the "Got it" button (tapping "Got it" cancels). Full steps are on the Android App page.
How do coaches get seed times?
Coaches choose an upcoming meet from "Seed Times for Meets" and get each team swimmer's best recorded time per event — downloadable as CSV.
